 Hi…my name is Idra Daud.
 
My English score in Secondary One (Normal Technical Stream) was only 40 marks for my mid-year examination.  However, with several consultative sessions with Ms. Jam, which was only three weeks prior to my final English examination, I was able to score 68 marks.  With Ms. Jam’s continuous and ardent guidance, my marks started soaring in Secondary Two, as I excelled in my English Language Enrichment Learning.  I was scoring A’s in all class tests and school examinations and was the top student in English Language for both my mid-year and final year examinations respectively.  I have been offered a choice to be re-streamed to a Normal Academic class. This achievement has definitely boosted my level of confidence and I will strive to improve my English Language even further.

Both of my children, Nicole and Sean, have been learning English with Ms. Jam, ever since they started schooling.  They have both done very well in 2007.  My daughter Nicole, who is in Primary Two, emerged as the third student in her class. My son, Sean, who is in Primary One, was among the top ten students in his school, and he has been selected for the elite special class. I am very happy with their results. 

 

In 2008, both Nicole and Sean were able to score 'As' in their exams.  Thanks to Ms. Jam.

It was through the consultative sessions with Ms. Jam, that I was able to grasp the right approach to both my Essay Writing Skills and Reading Comprehension Skills.  I realized that it is important to know and understand precisely as to what is expected in all aspects of our English Language Components in order to perform excellently well.  I had attained ‘A2’ grade in my O’ Level results.
